The Berand Estate Chardonnay was very lightly oaked resulting in a delightful wine. The nose is of fresh bread and the palate has a very soft buttery finish. Particularly enjoyable with veal, vegetarian dishes and curries. A lovely wine that will reward careful cellaring for a further 2-3 years.

The Hunter Valley is renowned for its Semillons and the Berand Estate aged Semillon upholds the tradition. The growing season was particularly hot and dry resulting in a beautiful Semillon that is golden in colour, has a delightful nose and a lovely crisp, grassy flavour underscored by light honey. Very good drinking now with chicken or seafood dishes or allow to age for up to 6 years when it will further develop its honey characteristics.

Available soon! As with 2006 the growing season was hot and dry... hotter even than 2006! The result is an excellent Semillon that is more intense in honey flavour than the 2006 vintage. Great drinking now or will keep with careful cellaring for another 3-4 years.

The 2009 Verdelho vintage was the result of wonderful growing conditions and heavy pruning during the previous winter, as a result the vines produced less than 2 tonnes per acre which allowed Michael Delius the winemaker to produce this delightful wine. Drinking now, but don't to forget to stock up for summer.
